We recommend a cleaning and exam at least every six months to prevent gum disease and tooth decay from harmful bacteria buildup. While maintaining oral health at home is essential, tartar may still accumulate in areas beyond your toothbrush’s reach. Our team uses special tools to remove this buildup. Afterward, we conduct a thorough examination, addressing any concerns to prevent more complex treatments or conditions.
Oral cancer screenings are included in your routine visit. During the exam, we’ll use digital X-rays and closely observe the lips, face, and oral tissues to check for any abnormalities. If you’ve noticed any of the following symptoms at home, please let us know:
• Persistent red or white mouth sores
• Lumps in the mouth or neck
• Unusual nodules or masses in the neck or throat
Crowns are prosthetic appliances designed to restore damaged or decayed teeth. With our CEREC system, you can receive a custom-fitted crown in just one visit, preserving the tooth’s natural structure and protecting it from further harm.
A bridge is a fixed appliance that fills gaps caused by one or more missing teeth. Made of fused dental crowns, the bridge blends naturally with surrounding teeth, restoring your smile and function. The process involves preparing the neighboring teeth, then placing and cementing the bridge over them for a secure, lasting fit.
Dentures are a removable solution for replacing missing teeth, providing a confident smile and restored chewing ability.
To repair chipped or damaged teeth, bonding uses a durable, tooth-colored resin that restores both appearance and function. If grinding is an issue, an oral appliance may be recommended to protect the bonding material.
Our custom mouthguards are designed to relieve tension from teeth grinding (bruxism) and TMD (temporomandibular joint disorder). TMD affects the jaw joint, often causing a popping sensation or discomfort when opening or closing your mouth. Wearing a mouthguard while sleeping can reduce joint tension and prevent grinding.
